Educational
Coopculture educational offer takes into consideration two main guidelines: transformation and cross-over.
As the building hosting the Cerasi Collection has changed its function multiple times, from the Health Department to an abandoned ruin to the current reborn, educational activities as well are meant flexible and modular, so to adapt to the different types of public visiting Palazzo Merulana.
Of course, the artworks and the artists from the Roman School will be at the main core, but their cultural value will be intertwined in a new and unconventional way with other artistic expressions as music, literature, writing, photography and corporal expression.
Also, the emotional and “loving” component will be underlined as a crucial and peculiar factor in building the Cerasi collection, enabling a unique storytelling around each artwork.
The will is to make the artworks of the collection alive again, in a new multifaceted and multidisciplinary perspective, that can be the engine to gather different people together, also walking out the doors of Palazzo with proposals on the territory, and to offer a renewed space for regeneration and active artistic participation.
